    There's something about tensioners that has always bugged me. If you look at them, new or old... they all appear to have a crack across them.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    I hear you. It's because they are nylon based for ridgity and less friction. The counter side is it will have natural fissures. (There's you're dose of science)
