you'd hear a worn wrist pin slapping around, aka hitting the head.
you guys should see if you can rent a scope, and take a peak inside the cylinder.

Pulling the head would be easier.
Quit doddlin' around.
It needs internal work anyways.
Also, a "canned tune" and an "SLP Catback" does nothing to help for a pulley drop really.
It's about flow.
The factory catback is good for 350~ WHP. Read the link in my signature if you want to really learn how this basic modding works.
With a larger pulley..it's still going to do it. What has likely occurred is what we said. Piston landing chipped, rings are still holding the right pressure and you have pieces beating the plugs to death or it's getting blown off. Either way..you have internal issues and its super unlikely to be a wrist pin. Very.
