So last night i changed out my plugs and wires in my 04 comp g. The car has 89k miles and the way they came out and looked, can tell they were never changed. Anyway i finally got them out and put the new ones in and when i started the car the idle seemed kind of off so i got in and pressed the gas and its skipping a beat sort of, but not as if 1 cylinder wasnt firing. So i thought the wires somehow got mixed even though i did them one at a time. Rechecked firing order and they are all perfect, i even took out every plug and put it back in and made sure every wire was tight on plug and coil. So my question is i put in al 605s and al stock 7mm wires.
Now all i have is a cai and a 180 tstat and am planning on headers next week so am i just running to cold or is one of my plugs or wires bad. I was getting misfire on highway but when i went to scan it my scanner doesnt list the 5th vin for engine type. I dont have an aeroforce yet this is my next mod befor i start pushing the boost more. Should i just keep the 605s and get 606s for now and when i drop to a 3.5 go colder then?
