No cat is better [performing] if you do not have an emissions test to pass. Some even say the high flow cat flows worse then the stock cat but i have not seen any data supporting this.
ok, so getting the o2 emulator, and a 304 SS catless 3" bolt-in downpipe is better then running the 304 SS 3" bolt-in downpipe with cat?
no emissions testing in MN, so im guessing catless is the way to go?
Also, How does catless sound with stock exhaust? I don't want to get something that sounds like a cat that stuck in a bag or something... Also anyone know how bad cabin drone is?

does the car sound better with the res delete only? Cat delete only? Or still sound good w/ both gone?
without a cat youre going to get a lot of rasp unless you actively combat it with a bigger resonator and stock mufflers.
id keep it if i were you. it smells like you have no cat, so people can tell. it sounds worse without it. your bumper and tips will accumulate soot as well.
Next q then, How do you get rid of the resonator? Resonator is just the sound reducer right?
As far as i know yes, you get rid of it by cutting it out and replacing it with straight pipe.
I suggest going on youtube if you are concerned with sound. Type in gtp exhaust note or something to that effect. If you are concerned with performance the best setup i know of is headers, no cat and 2.5" cat back. Borla is most recommended on this site. In your case you would get the 3" downpipe instead of headers.
ok, then no res or cat delete for me then. I would rather have less loud crap sound, then quiet decent sound, until I can afford some mufflers or exhaust system. What are some good mufflers and tips, other than the Flowmaster 40's?
I am getting the FLowmasters next weekend I think
