I bought the ZZP SSIC from a member with the Gen3 core. My question is will I be able to use the Gen 3 core on my Gen 5. I Have been all over the forum trying to find the answer and can't. Also what size belt should I run with this IC and a 3.5 pulley?

    I can't believe ZZP sent a reply

    10:14 AM (17 minutes ago)

    to me

The blower outlet ports are different on the Gen. III and the Gen. V, that said yes a Gen. V blower will fit on a Gen. III SSIC but it is liable to have a vacuum/boost leak and probably lose a couple HP from not being aligned properly. You would be better off selling the kit and buying a Gen. V IC kit.

Just keep the GenIII and run a smaller pulley.

Be smart, and love the whine.

If I get the S2 core can I just use the injector spacers that come with the SS kit?

pretty sure you cant... but you can just cut your stock fuel rails (some say it isn safe but its fine...) to make it fit while you save for some fuel logs...which you will end up wanting I promise....

Allll right I was searching around the forum and read that you can cut and mod your own rails? Cant find exactly what needs to be done.

OK I think I get the mod now. You cut them where it connects the front and the back and add a fuel line there to kinda make your own logs. I have a friend that welds I but he could make something for me.

Trying to figure out what the bolts are for. I figure all the bolts for the blower are on the Left side and the three 10mm with the round spacer things are for the fuel rails which means I am missing one and will have to figure something out for that.

If i'm not mistaken you have to remove the valence and install the FMHE underneath the bumper support.
