hey everyone, i bought a ZZP ported LIM from a member on here. i got a pretty good deal on it and would like to make it work. as many of you know i have a 97 GTP and have a GenV with a S2IC. i know this is the ZZP Gen III S2/S3 LIM, i should have looked more into it before i bought it. the guy said he ran it on his car with the GenV and S2IC witch i dont see how he did..

but here we go i tried to make this organized and easy to understand and for suggestions. each picture is # at the top right in yellow 1-3.

    1. blue circle: PCV- this is not the same as the GenV PCV set up so it wont work? what should i do.
    2. red arrow: this looks a little hogged out more then the GenV LIM, will this matter (loss of performance, etc..)
    3. purple arrow: this area looks a little hogged out more as well is this a problem?
    4. green arrow: what is this?

    1. blue circle: the gasket doesn't look to line up perfectly with the PCV valve is this a problem?
    2. black/purple circle: what is this area, there is a whole in the gasket but nothing there in the LIM
    3. black arrow: im guessing i need to machine out this area to match the bottom of the IC core correct?
    4. yellow ?: there is nothing there under the gasket should i cut out the gasket around the LIM inlet?
    5. red square: this piece is blocked off on the LIM should it be that way?
    6. red circle: should this area match the gasket?

    1. yellow circle: what should i do about this area?
    2. blue circle: what do i do about this area?
    3. red line: this area doesn't seem to match up with the LIM the LIM inlet looks bigger. should i trim the gasket to fit?

-this is a pic from ZZP i have the GenIII S2IC LIM and im suppose to have the GenV S2IC LIM

can i get this LIM to work with my set up?
would it be easier to sell this and machine my own or buy one already ported for a S2IC GenV?

i took my time and tried to make this as easy as possible to understand,
any help would be greatly appreciated!

    thanks in advance,
    Eddie

The purple arrow is fine, it wont hurt anything. its just for the BBV
The green arrow is pointing to the threads for the coolant temp sensor. should be fine as long as there are threads there.

blue circle looks fine, you could dremel it out if you really wanted to.
    Black/purple: Idk, leave it alone.
Black arrow: Yes cut that out to match the outlet of the IC core.
Yellow circle: Yes cut that out to match the LIM, doesnt need to be there.
Red square: The coolant ports to the SC seemed to be blocked off, its needs to be like this seeing as the coolant cant pass through the IC core. Its good.
Red circle: I wouldnt worry about it

    Yellow circle: Cut it off
Blue circle: might as well cut the gasket
red line: gasket match if you want.

hope this helped. I have not installed an IC core so i didnt answer some of the things considering the PVC ect.

First thing you should do is throw away that Garleak gasket. It's nothing but a vacuum leak about to happen.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

i got it with my IC core i didnt buy it so its just here lol

i can use it as a template to know how much i have to take off of the inlet where the black arrow is pointing in pic #2

i know i heard alot of bad things about them

what should i do just RTV the core onto the LIM and same with the S/C to the core?

dont throw that gasket away until you trace it on the lim. match the lim to that gasket and it will work fine, if the lim is a little over cut already dont worry it'll still be good as long as the SC covers the hole.

what core did you get? WBS core, sseilmnop's core, and some others, do not use the front pcv so that wont matter on the lim. youll need to run a breather on the front cover or run a hose to the throttle body from the oil fill neck or front valve cover.
