To start this read I would like to say that im a broke college student.

Im running stock beside a home cai.

What mod could I get thats around $100?

Im thinking.... um.... hmmm.... Well a Down Pipe would have to be installed. That would a little more money than I have...

I would like to get a power log... Ive got a friend who may even be able to install it.

    What do you guys suggest?

downpipe so you can remove the u-bend, just save a little longer and the power log is not hard at all to install. unbolt the front manifold. pull it off, bolt the p-log in. also unbolt it from the cross over. not hard at all tho

The plog new is gonna run you around $140 shipped from ZZP. Autolite 104's, lower thermostat, throttle body spacer would be in your current price range and are good supporting mods, or do as Blowfish said and wait and save a lil more. Look at then for sale/demods section of the forums... sometimes you find some really good deals.

Do the DP. As a poor college student you'll appreciate the better MPGs from getting rid of the u-bend.

I haven't with the Daytona, but i HAVE ran the talon with the exhaust off.... it sounded like a dumptruck but waaaaaaaay louder! To be honest, uncomforatably loud... and I couldn't breathe well, haha. When you're 16 though... you don't really care about ... fumes, and carbon monoxide, and when you start to fall asleep at the wheel... that stuffs only good for you at that age, haha.

I'm kidding though, I took it around the block like that one time and put my Thermal R&D on afterwards.

I was more making a joke for freebeer

haha before i rolled my gtp and still now i guess (yea still drive it) i took a hack saw jacked up my rear(rims still on) and cut the muffs off right where it bends. This was done at 2 in the morning, took it out for a drive and im suprised no cops showed up. in the morning i went to advanced bought 2 2" exhaust pipes and 2 clamps and clamped them on there. It doesnt look so pretty but it sounds great at 2k and i dont regret it.

How about a PCM? They run around $100-$150.

a pcm is gonna cost you about 260 without rebate. i would strongly suggest, like most, to get one from overkill. they are the best and most reliable. zzp's pcm have not worked on all cars.
