downpipe so you can remove the u-bend, just save a little longerand the power log is not hard at all to install. unbolt the front manifold. pull it off, bolt the p-log in. also unbolt it from the cross over. not hard at all tho

The plog new is gonna run you around $140 shipped from ZZP. Autolite 104's, lower thermostat, throttle body spacer would be in your current price range and are good supporting mods, or do as Blowfish said and wait and save a lil more. Look at then for sale/demods section of the forums... sometimes you find some really good deals.
