    the temp sensor is brand new too.. btw the which was is upside down for the tstat... spring up or in the lim?

    saw you in the chat but you were gone by the time i could respond.

    why not get one of these Amazon.com: Hayden Automotive 3653 Economy Adjustable Thermostatic Fan Control: Automotive and wire the fans to a switch ,(run a relay for for each fan, and they wire up like a set of fog lights) most of these thermostats have a green wire to splice into the green ac wire, on the a/c's power plug, so it turns the fans on when the a/c is on. used one in my gmc pick up when i swapped over to electric fans. side note, my a/c was never colder after upgrading to elct fans.

    i also wired a on/off switch to a fuse that was off when the car was off, and i just left the switch on all the time. that way i could turn them off if needed. (floods mostly)

    this is what happens when you only use one relay, even on a dual fan thermostat.



    burnt the F up! and this was a pricey one, i think i paid 60 for it, you can turn a small screw to the temp you want the fans to turn on.



    you can also just run the fans to a off/on switch and leave them on all the time. put the power lead to the switch to a fuse thats off when the cars off, so they turn off when the cars off.(with 2 relays) in the winter my truck didn't even need them on as long as i was moving. to wire it up just google fog light wiring, and follow that lead but add the second relay for the second fan. one power source split to power both relays, and then the wire to the switch gets spliced together, so both relays work at the same time when powered up, and less wiring and switches like that.

    just thought this was worth mentioning when i hit the ac button i dont hear the compressor click.. you think that has something to do with the fans?

    both fans should turn on when the a/c is on. and stay on.

    is the clutch spinning tho?

    lol man i dont know.. i wouldnt think so cause its not cold at all.. when i hear the click it gets cold and both ac fans click on too.

    maybe the power wire to the compressor is broken/crimped or a dirty connection.

    does the climate control a/c light light up when you push the button, then it still blows hot? then when it wants to it will click like the compressor kicked on, and then blows cold?

    but why would that affect the regular usage of the fans and cause over heating.

    you sir have a gremlin.

    the whole ac system is brand new.. the prev owners had it replaced... i got receipts

    it could have lost Freon, id still have it checked out. bring it back where they had the work done, maybe they will help ya out some, if you can.

    when the a/c works off and on, it usually means low on Freon.
