I have a 99 gtp supercharged , automatic(just got it) when it shifts from 1st to 2nd its shifts at about 19mph but when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd it doesnt shift till between 46 to 52 mph. is this right or do i have transmission problems. Any help would be great.

    Isn't 45 the shift point?

under "heavy" acceleration first gear will shift around 45ish, second gear shifts around 85ish and 3rd gear won't shift into OD on a stock car....
Under light accel, it is hard to say. Depends on throttle position and incline.

More than 25 % tps, I feel that they shift late anyway. Crazy to have 40% tps and 4800 shifts.

sound like you lost 3 rd gear, had the same problem myself. 3 rd should lock up around 30 to 34 mph. so if its not shifting till 43 or so, your shifting into over drive aka 4th gear.

when you are going over 50 mph, drop the shiftier into 3 rd gear, if the rpms don't jump up, you lost 3 rd.
