I was wondering what other people think about a pace setter cat back system....What does it sound like? and any performance gains? or in comparison to a corsa system

none of the cat back systems are worth it. no power gain unless youre pushin far from stock numbers. if you want different sound just do the muffs and res. but itll most likely sound crappy.

    what silvaman said is right.

    Catbacks wont add performance.

Just buy mufflers if you want a different sound, but in truth all grand prix exhaust sounds terrible. (except gxp, cuz v8)

and on the off chance that you are making over 350 hp, an exhaust cutout would be much cheaper and more affective.

    You cant really.

Flowmasters will drone and make your ears bleed.

Magnaflows will sometimes drone and bleed a little less.

Borla is $$$ but sounds the best.

Then theres stock which is quiet and nice because its just a grand prix.

Probably check and see if it has a resonator or a converter.

HFC and a 30" GP will make it sound way better. Local had a corsa catback with a glasspack and catless headers. Those mufflers sound awesome.

    Find a stock catback.

    Use it.

Change the mufflers out if need be.

An aftermarket exhaust system isn't needed and will sound exactly the same as "X" exhaust system would if you just swapped the mufflers.

    Link in signature...check it out.
