I'm thinking about getting a cat back system for my 2007 grand price GXP and was wondering if I would have to get a tune afterwards. I wouldn't think so but would love some feedback.

    nope, no tune needed

and also, if you wanna be cheaper, just buy mufflers and not the whole catback, it will save you monies and you will still get the sound you want,

    ^ this.

You wont gain any performance with a cat back...
Just chop the old mufflers off, and get a shop to weld in new mufflers.
It would save lots o money...and thats a good thing

    Read.

Deleting the resonator is awful sounding. You'll want to pull your hair out.

Is deleting a resonator on a GXP bad sounding?
V8 rumbling just might be music to someone's ears. Although, they don't sound bad with just a good muffler mod.

LS motors crackle and pop with no form of a resonator...

    No one likes Rice Krispies.

    I'm talking about drone anyways.

I never mentioned drone either. Some people just like that sound.

It's just a matter of opinion.

Yup...that's drone...something you can easily get rid of with a long glasspack or a factory resonator if you can find one in good shape.

You won't needa tune. The magnaflow sounds really nice on a GXP. I say go for it.

Just to give you an idea.
