So im going to be installing my topswap kit. it is a full l67 topswap. But i was wondering if i can leave the L36 damper on and run an SS pulley instead of using the l67 balancer? I have the cast iron coil bracket so i wont need to track one down. im just wondering what changes need to be done so the belt wraps the correct way.

Well im doing more research as im typing this and it seems that there is very little belt wrap when setting up this way. im still interested in how this is done, but not sure if it is a good idea now because i will be limiting my pulley selection and having to use a non stock belt size.

you really should just run the L67 setup with two belts. it is a much better setup.

    This and all of this.

The M90 is horribly parasitic as it is...I can't imagine running all of that off of just ONE belt setup...

the belt routing for the single belt just comes off the alt over the SC and down to a idler pulley on the coil bracket then down to the AC.

running one belt vs two would have less friction and parrasitic loss then two belts. but after compairing the amount of contact to the SC pulley i dont think it is the best setup. then again i wont be going with a small pulley anyway but still.

But back to the original question i have....

on ZZP's kit, is there any modification done to the coil bracket? or do you just mount an idler pulley where the tensioner is? im wondering if the belt will line up correctly. either way if i do it or not i would just like to know.
