OK, so I think it is time for me to replace the intake manifold gasket.

Coolant is dissapearing, have a vaccumm leak, not sure what parts I need to replace.

Any idea what I need to replace and where to get the best parts at the best price? Tight on funds.

I have watched the video on it, but figured I would ask more questions to make sure I am prepared.

Not worried about doing the job itself as I have a fully stocked garage, and have been turning wrenches for decades. Just want to be informed.

    Thanks all.

Rockauto is pretty cheap... There's a thread on here with discount codes for rockauto too. Just make sure you get the aluminum framed LIM gaskets and that you put some teflon paste or similar on the LIM bolts before they go back in. Pretty simple job really... Injector o-rings(12) is something a lot of people forget and the old ones will be hard as a rock and cracking most likely.

Felpro makes a gasket package that they sell at rockauto. Its call the upper intake or plenum gasket kit or something like that.

    Thanks for the reply all.

    Couple of questions first.

    1. Is there a test to make sure that I need to replace the intake gaskets?
    2. Anyone have a part number and list of what all I will need to do this?

I dont want to buy the wrong part/parts.

Is it the lower gasket, upper, both?

Im used to working on my 87 Cutlass, v8 engines, but the whole supercharger, what gaskets to replace is new to me.

Thanks again for the great info.

    From http://www.grandprixforums.net/commo...ets-39796.html

    Fel Pro
    MS98014T........Aluminum LIM gaskets..............................$51.79
    ES70599...........Fuel Injector O-rings (need 3)....................$1.91
    VS50465R.........Valve Covers (L67) w/grommets................$40.79
    MS95744...........Plenum (SC to LIM) gasket w/rings (L67).....$8.43
    61024..............Throttle Body gasket (L67)........................$3.52
    47065..............Coolant elbow.........................................$4.0 0
Permatex Ultra Copper RTV - works for every fluid in our cars except supercharger - for corners of LIM
Permatex ptfe based pipe sealant for LIM bolts.
An oil change and gallon or two of concentrated coolant.
Cleaning supplies - Brake cleaner and gasket scraping.
    Can of TB cleaner

Easy way to tell if you need to do this job, look between the head and LIM, got a black gasket? If yes..then your gasket will look bad when you get in there.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
