Yes GT was the plug retainers. I took mine in but they said modified could not do the front retainer and just installed wire clips on the wires

If its under warranty or something that leads to no cost for you (excluding some crazy coupon) they probably wont.

However if its in for repair that you are paying for, I'd be surprised if they decided to not take your money. Its called the stealership for a reason.

im sure they would work on the stock parts that are left, my truck had 33's on it and im sure they killed my hubs and the dealer put 6 pairs of wheel hubs on my truck and rebuilt the front end 3 times. all under warranty. 33x12.5x16 is no where near a stock tire size, and i lifted it it some, and they worked on it no problem.

and my dealer sucked a dick too! they did work on my truck and had to pull the plug wires, they break the wires and want to charge me 90 bucks for a new set, mind you were are talking about 8, 6 inch wires or less, are you guys high? you broke it, you fix it. i got stuck buying a new set for 30 bucks from a auto parts store, and had to put them on my self. and the truck still had a tick, fvckers did jack and had the truck for 3 days. and to boot i fixed the tick. it was missing the back exhaust manifold bolt. dealers suck! lazy half asses mechanics. for the most part that is, im sure there are a few good guys out there, i just haven't found him yet. not at a dealership anyways.

yes, i lost my ****, but you have to know my truck was in their shop 5 times a year, i lemon lawed it and got 4500 bucks as a settlement, i HATED THIS GARAGE like no one else, the truck would have greasy hand prints all over it too. the management guys were a bunch assholes, no loaner car either. place sucked full circle.

this was how they cover up not completed warranty work, yes thats epoxy on my t case.

and i had scratches down the whole side of the truck at the same time this shotty works was done, they had my truck for 2 weeks. i almost beat the living crap out of the manager when i found this epoxy crap while still at the lot picking it up!

i work at a dealership... :runandhide:
i honestly haven't seen anything like that. i'm an ASEP student right now, and the guy i'm working with has worked there for 15+ years. he can do most of the jobs nowadays with his eyes closed. i even watched him pop an a/c condenser while taking a radiator out, and he paid for it himself since he broke it, no charge to the customer. i scratched a car while working on it, and it got sent to the body shop for a touch up paint job. as for time, 75% of the time your car is in the shop, it's waiting for parts to get there. but i'll agree that it's expensive as hell. there was a radio for an escalade... $1800 just for the part, plus probably three-tenths for labor and three tenths for diagnosis. needless to say, the guy didn't buy it

I bought mine from the dealer and they said they went through it completly and what not which they did new brakes all around they did something with the abs module and tires and stuff like battery but I knew about the recall because this wasn't the first grand prix we've owned so I asked about it and they acted like they didn't know a thing about it and 3 months later I had it back there with the letter...

Just figured a certified dealer would run the vin number and make sure all the recall stuff was fixed before they resold the car but I don't know the industry

i called the bbb on them called gm head quarters, emailed letters to who ever, i was a real scum bag. when i went back for them to change the t case the managers like you didn't have to call GM we were going to fix it. i was like you don't think so? how do you let something like that leave your shop? how? yes they needed to be told you guys are slackers. and i never got the paint fixed they just denied it all together.

    dealer name you ask?

Beyer Bros Corp. | GMC - Isuzu - Volvo - OshKosh

never again will i buy from them.

pics of scratches, they are all the same height, both sides where the bed meets cab and further down on the bed side.

i kept this truck so damn clean too, for a real work truck it was dent and scratch free till these fools got a hold of it.

and i hand washed it every week, and the day before i dropped it off i washed it, believe me, when you hand wash and dry your car or truck, you have intimate knowledge of every imperfection on it, these were not there when i dropped it off.

i wanted to deal with a place that only sold and worked on trucks, as gmc dont sell to much other then some small suv's now. boy was i wrong. next truck will come from a high end dealer, that sells every thing gm has to offer, a nice clean garage, and huge sales floor, loaner cars all that good stuff.
