Obviously it won't...since I've done it plenty of times...and I did it last night on a buddy of mines Cobalt who needed the S/C oil changed...dealer might have stripped it out or maybe the previous owner? Who knows...all I know is as long as your not using an aluminum hex...it'll be fine. All I know is you can't just say "leave the blower oil alone"....Because it, just like every other lubricant needs to be changed eventually...also, if your snout seal is bad...and the blower happens to leak...you have to service it and re-fill it eventually.Originally Posted by darkhorizon
