Just wondering what those of you that install charge for a long block L67 install/replacement and how many hours it really takes you?
Or for those of you that have had it done what you paid?

How many hours it really takes means nothing. If you had or are having a shop do it they charge book time. Book time is used even though it might not take as long because there are times when they run into problems and it actually takes longer. That's their loss if that happens. Its pure profit if they get it done in less than book time. That can't be held against any shop for doing that.
All data says 9.8 hrs to R&R with transfer of parts. So around here $60 an hour x 9.8 = $588.
Last swap I did was $1100 for everything. Engine included in the cost. Labor was right at $450 iirc. This was in a shop though
I typically charge 500 for an engine install.
There's hardly an install that doesn't need parts swapped etc etc. If the engine was truly ready to drop in, it would only take about 6 hours. Nothing is ever that perfect though. Typical time is 7-10 hours from start to a completed, fluids topped off and test driven car.
