no compression is not good. it looks like its time to start shopping for a new block.

Ok..another small update....checked two and four.....they are weaker than one and five..but are leaps and bounds better than three.....it has a pretty good oil leak from the back valve covers....don't know if that would have anything to do with it....

you chipped your pistons, its over johnny...

when you have smashed spark plugs 9 times out of 10 you lost a piston. in your case maybe 3 pistons.

Leaky valve cover would have nothin to do with no compression.. Time to look for a used engine...

I had plugs that looked like that once. My TSI leaned out hardcore and melted them.

I lucked out and "only" fried the rings.

if you cant find a s/c engine you could get a n/a block and top swap it with your cars parts, if your heads are still ok. you would need a tune then.

you would have to have your stock pcm re tuned.

may even look into a cam and headers while its out and apart, if you dont have any goodies yet

take lots of pics, vac lines and anything you may forget where it went in 2 or 3 days lol. bag and tag bolts and wires, just keep it organized and you'll be ok.

well in his case a bottom swap. hes s/c but cant seem to find anything but a n/a locally. with a side of luck his heads held up, most of the time the valves don't like passing metal chunks.
