i just bought a 160 degree thermostat and put in my 98 gtp. the old one which was a 195 degree would run around 210 sitting still and around 185-190 when moving. the new 160 seems like its running a to warm at a stop it sits steady right around 200 and running hold steady at about 180-190. not sure if this is correct but seems warm. anyone have any advice? thanks guys
98 Gtp, ported s/c, fully rebuilt motor .20 oversized pistons, rebuilt trans, zzp pcm, more mods to come

Your fans turn on at ~216F low speed and ~228F high speed. If you aren't driving, that is going to control your temps.

    Unless you reprogram the pcm.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

put the stock one back in.

then set the fans to turn on at low around 200 and high at 215.

I like this. My low fan speed turns on at 198F. Fans run a lot during city driving, but engine temp stays consistent.
