You forgot that the extra $400 you would save would allow you to grab some header wrap and $350 in other mods.

still thats cheaper then hearing people say they spent $ hundreds for headers when thats only a little over $200 an thats not a bad price.

Makes little sense to spend $600 on headers when you can go the ssac/sd route and save $400. Yea can have a zzp flex welded in and take it to any decent exhaust shops and have them fix the Ubend and still save money. Also you can coat the headers yourself w/ high heat paint (sand before though) if you worried about looking pretty. Hell look how pretty the stock manifolds are and ask yourself it is really gonna bother u. It's about gains not being pretty lol

Comparison; WBS Headers ($600) to SD's ($300) 300 is conservative.

    WBS/SD 3/8 Flanges - compared to sd 3/8 flanges
WBS 1.75 Primaries - compared to sd 1 5/8's; more flow
WBS 304 Stainless Steel - compared to mild steel (ssautochrome site); This is where you pay (Badass 304 steel)
    WBS Tig Welded
    WBS No UBend
WBS Better clamps, larger crossover, doesn't need flex replacement.

    True Comparison;

    WBS/SD 3/8 Flanges - compared to sd 3/8 flanges
WBS 1.75 Primaries - compared to sd 1.75's; same flow
WBS 304 Stainless Steel - compared to stainless steel
WBS Tig Welded - SSAC's welded just fine
    WBS No UBend - SSAC's have a 3'' mandrel bent half U
WBS Better clamps ($11 at Napa), larger crossover but I'm definitely not sure about that, doesn't need flex replacement if you have shot motor mounts

All for only 300% more money!

    The WBS headers are $628.46...

    a difference of.......... 291% !!!

show me where it says SD's are 1 5/8"

And sometimes i hear about people having the u-bend hit the pavement, other times people say that its higher than the frame and lowered cars still dont hit.

smaller primaries = more flow for your stock motor.

Seems like the WBS headers are WAY overpriced... the SD's are stainless and according to the OP that's what he's paying for over the SD's.

    I'm big on education.
