The flex will have issues if your motor mounts are shot.

And the O2 bung location doesnt work.

Still has gooseneck which does restrict flow.

Grade of steel is cheap, when welding you will see imperfections.

    Where's the goosneck?
o2 sensor works good for most people, some need to hammer the firewall about an inch, if that.
Eh.. still stainless. Are the WBS headers $400 better? Not even close.

I'd get the WBS headers if they were $320 shipped.

No but it will become a restriction after it sees about 2 speed bumps.

Perfweld headers.com http://www.perfweldheaders.com/svsm.html- "Stainless Steel Headers can be repaired, or modified at any time in their lifespan due to the simple fact that they do not rust and do not need a Thermal coating. Mild Steel Headers are very tough to repair or modify due to Thermal Coatings and rust"

If sd are stainless steel, why are they rusting?

also, ssautochromes Pontiac Performance Racing Products for International Sales from SSAutochrome Inc. site states that they are "mild steel"

Also, 1 3/4's is inside diameter? I was told by someone on the site they were 1 5/8's.

    The WBS headers are $628.46...

    a difference of.......... 291% !!!

Hey man it's great to have an opinion... but at least have an educated opinion!

You will not be able to just throw SD's on, It is a minimum cost of $300 and therefore much closer to 200% more, but idk why the percentage matters.

Seems like the WBS headers are WAY overpriced... the SD's are stainless and according to the OP that's what he's paying for over the SD's.

    I'm big on education.
304 is the MAIN reason the price is higher, if your fine with speed daddys then good for you. The 304 plus benefits listed earlier on my comparison is why I like the wbs headers.

Not to mention, that ubend is not a pretty sight if you look underneath the car..

Good luck with your headers. I love my stainless steel, 1.75'' primary, non ground scraping $215.98 headers.

Not to mention they helped to make my car put down 300whp and run 12's, cam only.
But hey... I'm sure you'll love your $628.46 headers that do the exact same thing.

    OMG people...SSAC headers ARE stainless...

For an example, I own the oldest set from 4yrs ago, and have put almost 50k on them since my Dec '05 install.

Here's a pic showing my crossover last week, while replacing my tranny internal harness (bent pins):

Another pic from last fall, on the ground when I swapped to a ZZP interlock flex, after 3yrs of all weather use in NY/MI/MN:
