If it's 87 octane regular, one gallon of Xylene (118 octane) for every 14 gallons regular (15 gallon fillup)

You will wind up with 89 octane. Depending on how cheap you can get Xylene this might be a good option, just be sure to add two gallons Xylene for every 13 gallons which would put you at 91.

Caught this thread looking for 93octane in the Salt Lake area... Take it from an old refinery operator, treat ANY of the 'enes with extreme caution. They are very hazardous to handle. It's true we add tolulene to boost octane and the higher the octane the more tolulene is in there, but it's added to the tanks in a sealed system. A carbon filtered half mask and long rubber gloves would be the minimum protection I would use putting this into your gas tank. The chemical will do a fine job of stripping the paint off your car, and as a bonus you'll get to increase your chances for blood cancers. It's not worth it, just pony up for the premium and enjoy the way these great cars run... now if I could just find some 93octane...
