So on my way home from the shore this weekend i stopped at the only gas station in town before hoping on the gsp, some hole-in-the wall, half assed place. I got $20 of 93 octane (4-5 gallons/ 3/8ths of a tank). When i got home, after the 40 mile drive, my car was idling terribly. I've never had this issue before and i cant think to blame it anything but the bad gas. Any input?
    Thanks, Rich

They may have had some water in their gas. Every so often stations are suppose to have their tanks cleaned. If it is a hole in the wall station, dought that has happened. Might want to get some fuel stabalizer and add to it.

Maybe it is unrelated to the fuel? Maybe you need to do a tune up?

I stopped by a gas station today top get gas. It was called "Thorton's"

That dump was selling 92 octane fuel as premium. Hell no! I didn't fill up there.

i went to fort wayne, IN last friday and need to get gas. the only gas station out in the boony was speedway. i put $10 which give me like 1/4 of a tank and i could of swear i only drive about less than 10 miles and the low fuel light come on. lucky there was a marathon gas station few miles down. i put in about 3/4 of a tank for the rest of the way to fort wayne. going back home from fort wayne to chicago (3 hours drive) i fill it up full tank with the good gas (sunoco 94 octane) when i got home to chicago i still have almost half a tank left and that's no BS either. i was cruising about 60 mph btw. no more speedway gas for me. wish there's more sunoco gas station close by me.

yea mine goes away after half a take of good gas. it might take a little longer. idk which gas stations are the best but mine idels great with BP gas. most other places make it idel crappy. but maybe its time to change out your plugs and clean your airfilter and maf screen/sensor. sometimes that will make it idel a little funny if its really dirty.
