ok i have replaced the intake gaskets (intake looked great 133,000 mies) water pump and radiator also coolant temp sensor. i have to use a 160 degree stat and had to disconnect the wire on the temp sensor that runs to the computer so that the fans will run all the time by doing this the car runs where it should in between 160 and 210, if i run a 180 stat the car will run at 210 if i use oem 195 stat it runs up in the danger zone. i work at an auto repair shop and this has mechanics with years of experience stumped what could be making the car run so hot

um use a 195 and bleed the cooling system really well.

    I run a 195 and never get above 205.

Are you getting your temps off the gauge cluster temp gauge? Maybe it's faulty...
