    oh...well i know what the BBV is lol...so a BBV is basically a wastegate?
    2001 Regal GS, PLOG, 3" DP, 1.9's/L76 springs. 21* of timing on a 3.4"

    yes and no. it does not have the ability to dump all boost and it doesnt vent to the atmosphere. it recirculates it, so a recirc valve is a better description.

    Its called the supercharger bypass solenoid as labeled on the supercharger diagram over the driver headlight, i ordered a new eaton bypass valve on ZZPerformance over the weekend but i need the solenoid swapped. its about the size of a D size battery with a wire coming out one end a sensor plug and a tube connecting to the bypass valve on the other end.

    Boost bypass valve replaced CE light still on. pulled a bypass solenoid out of an old early 90's Bonneville at the junkyard swapped out the output shafts from the two, installed the bonneville housing with the dead one and CE light goes off. problem solved
