Video qaulity is bad but you can here the noise starting at 0:32.

Link of me recording some ticking noise coming from the rear of the engine. My best guess would be exhaust? Sounds like air is leaking or escaping? What do you guys think?

Typical exhaust leak will happen cold and quiet down when warmed up. Yours seems to be more like a valvetrain tick to me
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    Hey billboost,

How about mines? Is it also a valvetrain noise? How do i get rid of it? The car drives fine as if nothing is wrong. New engine also and had 70k miles on it.

Valvetrain tick. What exactly do you mean by that? I've tried to look it up in older threads but could't really find anthing.

I'd like to say lifter or rocker related...but that doesn't sound too healthy. I know our cars are notorious for making lots of top end noise but thats more pronounced.

The thing is it goes away when the engine warms up and is only there on cold starts. The car still drives as if nothing is wrong and even when beating on it. The noise wasnt there at first but then all of a sudden popped up.
