Got a video here of a 2002 GP 3.1 that has had a ticking after a cold start for around 6-8 months. Curious what everyone thinks.

Yikes...that could almost sound like a bearing spun...but I'd lean more towards a failed or failing lifter.

Oil is good, changed every 3k. Pennzoil 5w30. I was leaning towards a lifter also. The condition varies with the weather as it warms up faster. As soon as the engine gets close to normal operating temp there is no sign of any problems.

*GASP* Pennzoil. Try switching oils, number one. Pennzoil is sh*t. It sounds like a lifter to me because it isn't getting primed and is ticking...open up the top end, change the lifters, gaskets, etc. and pre-lube them with GM Lifter/Bearing Lube...kinda looks like red Loctite.

That should get it taken care of.
