    I don't get why lots of people on here hate on top swapping cars. I will take my top swapped car over a L67 with the same mods any day. It's all about the tuning and running an IC for smaller pulleys. Unless you are a total moron and try to run a 3.0 pulley without an IC and expect it to run well and not blow up. Most of the people with low 1/4 mile cars have L26 bottom ends with high compression, it's the way to go.

    the point is that for someone not looking for an all out build it isnt necessary just makes it harder to build the way people want.
