i need to test my new modded 1997 gtp for knock to see if its actually running this 3.0" sc pulley right.

not sure whats exactly done but..

    very large cam
    3" exhaust
    headers
    3.0" pulley
    some sort of pcm tune
    valve train to match cam
larger injectors not sure on # (how can i determine what injectors i have?)

trying to figure out what has been done and if its going to blow.

how can i test for kr without spending a fortune. does caspers knock gauge work. I would like to really know numbers tho not just a couple led lights.

If anyone lives around the st. cloud MN area with a scanner that would be pretty cool but seems far fetched

Im with ya man, I bought one from the dealership and thought it was stock besides the CAI. Thats not the case. It has been modded. Im wondering how to find out about the internals as well, like cam, rockers, shift kit. How can you tell without ripping it apart?

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

mnclubgp.com should have a few people near you with scanners or know the history of the car if it was purchased in mn.

Upgraded rockers minus modded 1.9's you can tell by taking off the oil cap and looking at them. A cam will idle rougher than stock...even a VS feels like a misfire.

    thanks for the info.

nascartech...was his car black with tan interior with larger drilled rotors up front? I bought it form a guy in duluth and im not sure who he bought it from but thats who did all the work.

you can tell right away it has quite a lot of cam lift. I know the pcm has been tuned too cause the fans stay on for a min. or so after you shut off the car

If it has a MPS system...buy a new pulley and toss it on there...like a 3.4"...it won't knock then.
