You do know that ANY Series II 3800 will bolt up to your existing tranny, right? No reason to get a new one.
The radiator and engine seem to have a layer of rust in them, probably from when the car was labeled a flood vehicle (who knows) Is there a way to clean it out? its not damaged inside its just layered with whatever rusty crap was in the radiator...

You can't hotlink photos from your email. You need to host them elsewhere then embed or link them.

I've noticed some strange things with the site as well...

That rusty junk is probabaly old Dexcool coolant. It likes to do that when air meets it due to leaking gaskets and old age. It usually shows up in the overflow bottle as well. The only way to try and get rid of it would be to fix any leaks, flush the system, and refill w/ your choice of Dexcool or plain old green antifreeze.

If this was indeed a flood vehicle then good luck with it as it may have multiple issues aside from this one.
