I ordered the 2.5 bolt in off road. I decided to not go with the 304. Right now $50 is quite a bit and if it isn't something that I need for my car I'm not going to get it. I can spend that $50 on something else. I hope to get it Tuesday or Wednesday and get it put on before I leave for a trip on Sunday.

Well I got the DP yesterday and when I got home from work around 9:30 I decided to try to get it put in. I figured since it should only take an hour I wouldn't be working on it too long. How wrong I was. The two bolts that connect to the resonator would not come loose so I ended up using a cutoff wheel as well as a sawzall to get that end off. I was out until 12 last night working on it. This morning I went out and tried to remove the upper bolts and they wouldn't come loose either. I decided to quit before I round them off. I will try it again when I get home from work tonight.

I wish you would have asked becuase i would have told you that that wasesnt going to be the case. those rusty seized bolts can be a pain in the bet. get some PBBlaster and soak them for like 30 minutes...squirt them down real good...and then do it again before the 30 minutes is up. I had to use a pipe initially get the bolts by the resigniator off...and i think i took the dog bones off of the front of the motor to pull it foward to get the upt downpipe to manifold bolts. I guess it took me about an hour but that was after soaking them.

I tried using PB Blaster on them. I sprayed some on right when I got home from work and a while later when I went out to work on them I did it again and they still wouldn't come loose. By that time I already had them rounded off so I figured cutting through them would be the easiest thing to do with the tools that I had. I still am not sure how I am going to get the other two pulled out. I am going to go to a store tonight and see what I can find. I saw a few things that might work but I am not sure. It is tough to get much in there to get at them because of the way they are mounted.

Another update. All the bolts are out and I ended up cutting the DP up so I could pull it out. I still cannot get the O2 Sensor removed so I have that ziptied up for now. I have to drill out the old bolts by the resonator, get the O2 sensor removed and then I can bolt the new one up. I don't know what I am doing wrong or if my car is just that stubborn but I have spent 8 hours on it and I am still not done.
