    Hey guys how can u tell if a SC Coupler is bad. I have this noise coming from my SC and I want to believe its the coupler. It only do it at idle. Please HELP

    if it sounds like rocks tumbling around the SC.. u have a bad coupler.

    I found out. I thot it was the coupler, so I took off the SC belt to see it itll stop but it didnt. Its a cracked flex plate (flywheel) I got underneath the car wit a flashlight and saw it.

    that sucks... my flex plate cracked a few months ago... bad coupler would have been better.

    If you like doing way too much work. I guess you could pull the trans. I would just spend 2hrs and pull the engine out the top.

    Ill probably pull the engine out the top. Ive ordered my flexplate from zzp today. Im gonna change the oil pan gasket while its out the car. Im thinking of a mile cam as well

    I said the same thing when I pulled mine out to fix the oil pan gasket. Once you start you cant stop.

    Ok so all them mods and NO HEADERS? As nick stated above good time for headers and VS cam. I bet you would fall in love all over again with your gp. Oh and a good wideband tune.

    Thats what im working on as well as an intercooler. Probably speeddaddy headers. Their cheep and they gets the job done. (so I hear)
