Is it worth the hassel and time to port and polish stock heads, and supercharger?
I'm only runnin a 3.4, will I be able to drop pulleys, will I notice a difference?
Also I have almost 190,000 miles, how much power should I try to make, what can this old block handle?
I have heard to much power you can blow your rings on high mileage motors, is this true?

There motors run forever. I'd replace all the gaskets while your in there anyways...example...pull the motor.

Oil pan, front/rear cover gaskets, new oil pump, oil volume kit from a '04+ car, new timing chain/timing chain dampner, Felpro Head Gaskets, GM Aluminum Lower Intake gaskets, new coolant elbow, SC gasket/O-Rings, TB gasket...well...you get the picture. As for porting heads...I can get you a damn good deal...all you have to do is pay me his cost and cover your shipping...PM for more details if you want to.

    the oil pressure relief valve.

Basically its a new valve and spring. Goes in just behind the oil filter adapter.

Change it out for the 04+ spring and valve and boom, more oil pressure.

GM sells it for $4. Don't buy it from ZZP. Oil pumps can fail from not being lubricated, foreign objects in the gears, etc...just common sense things really...the big one is heat. I think there is a picture of mine on my FB...it was the factory pump that had 89K on it...and it was ground to sh1t.

so you use the stock oil pump for 1997-02 but you need a spring and accumulator for a 04+, and thats it?
