Ok so about two weeks ago I was driving up to osu to visit my friend that lives up there an about an hour and a half after driving me car locks up and I have to pull off to the shoulder of the highway. I pop the hood and try starting it again and it would turn over but didn't hear the fuel pump kick on. Now mind you when I hooked up the Intercooler pump I connected it to the fuel pump relay. Then I checked and noticed that the fuse to the fuel pump was blown. I swapped out the fuses an touched the intercooler pump wire to the battery terminal to see if it would turn on and it didn't. I then kept the intercooler pump wire unplugged then put the relay back in and the car started right up. This got me the rest of the way up and back. Right when I got home the first thing I did watch swap out pulleys just for safekeeping. I tried the ic wire to the battery terminal again and nothing. My first thought was the pump went out. Then a few days later after keeping it unplugged I thought you myself what the heck couldn't hurt, and tried the ic wire again and the pump turned on. Now after rejoicing for a few minutes I started wondering if it was drawing too much current from the fuel pump relay and it just shut down. So then after a drive up to the hardware store me and my dad wired a new relay and fuse for the ic pump and it worked just fine. Right when I got home from work yesterday I checked it again to see if it was still working and it wasn't. The relay is brand new and the fuse isn't blown so my question is what could be wrong? I've had the pump in there for about a year and around 10000 miles so I'm thinking, and hoping not, that the ic pump went out. I'm not sure what to do next besides buying a new pump. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
