So who is putting the squeeze on their rides? If your running nitrous I would like to know how the car runs with it, if youve had any problems and if your running a wet or dry set up? I think I eventually want a kit so let me know if this is just a dream and I should wake up or if this works well with the gtps!

i would put a 100 wet shot on a completely stock car, not change a thing, and not care.

these cars love nitrous, but if youre safe about it youll get a way to control timing and drop your plug temperature.

id recommend not putting the car into anything besides Drive, just to be clear of the rev limiter.

Rev limiter + spray = blown top end.

its very debatable. some will say go meth, some will say alchy.

nitrous is easy/cheap power, but it will cost u big time if you dont manage it properly.

any mods that make your engine more powerful will put your engine at risk. Nitrous only takes 1 **** up.

So is there anyone on here who is running nitrous or ran nitrous and had a bad experience?I think some people may be scared of it because of stories theyve heard but have never used it, I ran it for 3 yrs no problems on a civic I used to have. If your running alky or meth whats the advantages and disadvantages of either plz? I have never run either of these and am curous.

meth and alky are the same thing, youve been misinformed. its also not a power adder, its a chemical intercooler so you cant even compare it to nitrous.

Exactly. Alky/Meth are sprayed either pre blower or into the LIM...thus cooling the intake charge which allow for more boost/timing...here ya go...since I'm learning about PCM's...you should get educated on something your confused about

i know how meth works. dont hold it against me that i damaged your ego.
    Keep the thread on topic.

Meth will work as good as an intercooler, if not better. Meth tends to be the more tedious setup. pick your poison.

I never stated that it was a poweradder. I did not know that alchy and meth were the same . I was under the impression that alchy was the "gallons to a mile" fuel that the big boys run.

alcohol and methanol are VERY similar as far as their properties go. they are not exactly the same, but pretty much. methanol has a slightly higher octane level and also cools slightly more than alcohol does.

either way, for the topic of water injection they can be categorized as the same thing.

Methanol is an alcohol so meth=alky.

I would run a wet shot of nitrous. Pull a some timing and give it a go.

Agreed! Love the idea of meth/alk injection though very intresting. Does nitrous have any cooling to it like the meth/alk or just a power adder? Ive seen some guys putting it on their I/Cs?
