I'm trying to get the Crank Pulley/Harmonic Balancer off of the block. The bolt is out, and the block is not in a car. I've rented a couple different tools, the gear puller won't reach all the way around the gear; I've seen somebody do it with a harmonic balancer puller by putting bolts through the holes in the front, but i don't know how because they're not threaded and any pressure just pulls the bolts out. Anybody done this before? Any tips or helpful info?
