Just need some advice guys. Went to get my engine replaced and now my car won't start. I was just at the shop with my car. What do you guys think the problem could be? It would either turn on sometimes but would not stay on or hesitate to start.

I did an l67 engine/tranny swap. The first time I did it everything was good but I threw a piston in the engine. So I took the car backnto the shop but instead of just getting another engine the shop returned both engine and tranny and got new ones I think an engine from a Buick and when they trie to start the car it would start and turn back off or it would hesitate to start and wouldn't turn over. So I'm on here trynna get some info on why and some help.
Ya...so start with CEL's. Do you have any?
Another thing...is your car supercharged from the factory? If not your going to need a L67 Wiring harness/PCM...could be a good reason why it won't run on a L36 PCM. Might be the Lambo doors telling you something but that's just me. Are they warrenty'n it out? Are you getting all the work done for free? I would be. Apparently you need to go to a different shop because I'm pretty sure you've had issues with that place before and posted here about it.
Yes, to me it sounds like it could be to do with your PCM, which could have contributed to the first engin failure as well.
what u r describing is hard to understand. i guess the car tries to turn, maybe turns slow..starter???? as far as it not running and or starting and stalling and related to the turning over of the engine is a hard one, maybe a ground wire...hmm u got me. i would have them check all wires and connection let us know.
The car is still at the shop with them. I wanted to ask around to see if i could find out what the problem was myself. Basically the car struggles to start and sputters when it does turn on. I have been searching all over yesterday night and all i have been seeing with people who had similar problems as i am keeps coming down to the "fuel pressure regulator".
check idle air controller...id put money on it...I had a similar issue a few months ago.
Hell...I'd even have them unplug the MAF and start it
If it actually starts itself even a little I think the pcm is ok. You need to get a test light and check the starter to see if its getting the right amount of power to it. Could be a ground wire, bad connection, battery lol? or a bad starter. Could be the alternator. Need more info, does it actually turn over at all? Any clicking sounds? Have you checked your battery? Like mentioned above there are a lot of reasons why this could be happening. Do you have a repair manual? If not getting one would be a good thing and they list a lot of reasons why this could be happening. Flywheel could be jammed also. There are a lot of possibilities.
So i found out that the new l67 engine they got me is from a 1997 buick park avenue and it is inside the car now. And turns out that the transmission they installed.....(Get ready for this)....is not a 2004 or 2005 impala ss/monte carlo transmission. The transmission is from an earlier l67 oldsmobile. The pcm is an 2004 impala ss pcm. So my question now is, Is the oldsmobile transmission the reason why the car wont start? what can i do to get the car to start? I have done the Impala security relearn only. I took the car to a family mechanic yesterday evening and is sitting there now. Help me out guys. I already threatened the shop that did the install and they gave me a refund so the money is no problem.
Here are videos of the cluster when the key is turned and when i was doing the security relearn process.

Old PCM of what year and car? I have a dhp that I can easily flash to one of the pcm's that I have. And I am getting an 04 ss HD tranny installed in place of this bull**** one that's all wrong in everyway.
Okay, so you'll be fine with the 04 pcm and 04 tranny if you kept an 04 blower. I think. It L67 should be roughly, if not exactly the same tune as your original L32. But I'm not a tuning guy, so I could be way off here.
Thanks slowNA06. I ordered the transmission today and will receive it Tuesday next week. I am now looking for an 04-05 Impala SS/Monte Carlo SS Engine Wiring HARNESS. Does anyone have one for sale or know where i can purchase one other than EDMorads? I have already contacted them but they don't have any they could separate from any of their Packages.
