    looking for some ideas on where to start wnat to build a superduty gt out of my 99 gt.does one supercharger or add a tubo? and does anyone know who carries the sd hood

    You can TopSwap your gt and put a supercharger on it. It's the cheapest way to make more power. If your going to put a turbo on it expect to pay at least 7000 to do it right.


    Just use the search button on the forum and type in TopSwap and you will have all the info you need.

    X2...12's is easily do-able with a turbo kit but like TDC said. And then you'll have to think about your transmission which is another 2 grand because it won't be able to take the consistent beating like the 4T65E-HD in the GTP.

    if you want high 12s the absolute cheapest combo you can do to get there is one of the proven stock heads cams and all the rest of the supporting mods. you can do it non-intercooled fairly easily.

    youll need an (XP/S1X/VS/NIC/LL), headers, and a sweet ass tune. cant forget the intake, colder plugs, thermostat, etc.

    You're forgetting he'll need the blower too...
