Thread: car wont turn over after failed header install

yup vac leak

i dont see a problem with that, no visable cracks or tears, and it is snuggly plugged in on both sides..just to confirm...its a rubber hose goes from the black "thing" in the back of engine compartment to a black circular thing in between the throttle body and vblower correct?

i know its probably frustrating trying to work with a moron but hang in there lol

could the egr connetion cause it?

Just check everything you unhooked. Or anything you could have bumped.

Is that un hooked from the egr or lim? if so yes that will be your huge vac leak.

ill recheck but the tube going to the lim i believe is nicely tightened as is the egr itself....... Ill check and get back to you

the tube goin into the lim was all bent outta shpe so it must not have sealed properly

Where in MA are you? I wouldn't mind coming over and helping out when you take another shot at installing them. It would give me a chance to see the fitment on this batch before I order them for mine.

im in methuen just south of salem nh, but im not gonna do them i have to go away for a few days and well it seems worth it to drop it off and have my mechanic do it for me, dont want to do it all again/ probably wont find time for months...

but ill try to post up installed pics when i can
