Ok so just got done replacing all my motor mounts with solid poly mounts, still have something moving on hard accelerations. Also full solid poly mounts is damned annoying in gear at a stoplight.

Any ideas for whats causing this? loose / bad Cradle mounts, strut mount?

the CV joints felt good and at higher speeds it has no funky vibrations

can you describe 'something is moving'?

also, why in gods name did you put poly mounts on the bottom end? youre never going to get rid of that vibration at stop lights now. you should have done poly uppers and just regular solid lowers.

I really thought it was the motor mounts, it would bang when i put it in reverse almost everytime i pulled out of my driveway, which has a little bit of an incline. And and on hard acceleration from a stop it would knock. TBH i havent put it in reverse to back it out of the driveway yet to see if it does the same.

Could it be play in the drivetrain since i come home from work, go up the drive then put it in park, then when i go to leave it goes from max tension forward to reverse?

And yes the solid poly bottom end will prolly get removed, it started making my doors rattle silly at the stoplight.

Check out my thread in the 3.8 s/c section, sounds like we have the same problem. Is yours doing the same thing like the video I posted?

GeeBee, what you are describing kinda sounds like your tranny might be the cause... just a thought.
