Never dealt with a supercharger before, im used to the tapped block with a turbo and a drain line into the pan. I guess it's not bad to do? I've got 123k on mine and I'm betting it's never been done.

do it ever 30K miles.
reading the owners manual works wonders.
I don't have one, but i have a digital copy.
Want it? its for a 2002.
from 7-10 from my digital copy of the 02 manual under the 30 000 Mile section
They say check and top up... but this is like gear oil, its gotta be changed. For supercharged engines only: Check the supercharger oil level and add the
proper supercharger oil as needed (or every 36 months, whichever occurs
first). See “Recommended Fluids and Lubricants” in this section.
An Emission Control Service. (See footnote ).
I did mine in my 2006 GT and I used this siphon . I bought this car 3 weeks ago and I wanted to change the oil . I am glad I did, it was smelly and very dirty. I am sure the last owner never did. Pump out the old oil very fast.![]()
I need to probably do it as well.
so it's kind of like a diff being it's like gear oil, it really should be changed but chances are 1 in every 10 people maybe have actually done it as a preventitive maintenance step.
yup.
but its not really like gear oil in terms of its weight.

guess I forgot to add this part last time...
I's super easy! I just changed mine, and it took almost 8 ounces of oil. It cost me $24 for two bottles from the dealer.
Make sure your motor has cooled for at least two hours, as the pressure could shoot hot oil at you when you remove the plug bolt.
People keep saying its 6 fl oz yet others say it takes 8.
I think the issue is, how much did you get out?
had to bring this b ack from the dead cuz i was curious on which supercharger oil to use. ZZP has there brand for 10 dollars for i think 8 or 10 ounces, and they also sell GM oil for 7 dollars a bottle of 4 ounces.
Just buy the GM oil...do it right the first time. Don't help Zoomer Igloo's crap service fund.
Mine took nearly two bottles...and IIRC, each bottle is 4 ounces...so yes, 2.
