I'm not running an O2 because its arriving in the mail on monday
you get a check engine light and i think it screws your gas mileage up.
i went from 20+ MPG to like 13MPG
Re: DNA Headers + Coolant Fans Problem
Your not running ANY o2 sensor? Ya that's good.

He's talking about the REAR O2 sensor, not the front one. Only an idiot would run without a front O2 unless it was tuned specifically for it.

its the rear.
i didnt buy the extension before i installed the headers.
and it arrives monday ish
Re: DNA Headers + Coolant Fans Problem
You do not need an extension for the rear. You need one for the front.

Dent the body of your car where it hits. It is not noticeable on the inside, and gives you the room you need.

whichever one needed the extension. drove from Tampa to Miami (about 5 hours) just fine. my MPG kinda sucks (normal 22mpg, to 14mpg) now. but i assume when i get the extension it would be just fine.
Re: DNA Headers + Coolant Fans Problem
it has a code anyway cuz i took the cat out. . but thanks for the help!
Re: DNA Headers + Coolant Fans Problem
i still haven't fixed my coolant fan issue.
going to remove the fan motor this week.
Re: DNA Headers + Coolant Fans Problem
the ssac's need a front o2 extension the rear is fine. the ko pacesetters needed the front done aswell i believe.
Re: DNA Headers + Coolant Fans Problem
all headers need the front extended

Right...but from my understanding of the thread so far and him saying he ISN'T running the one that needs the extension since he doesn't HAVE the extension...means he has been driving around without his front o2. I thought I had mine plugged in once but I guess it didn't snap in and came loose. He isn't joking I was seeing around 9 mpg's. Easy fix though...you can also just splice the wires you have and extend them down a couple feet and wrap them in exhaust tape or header wrap.
Re: DNA Headers + Coolant Fans Problem
Just to throw crap in the fan my SSAC's hit the heat shield.

i did this... works fine.
Re: DNA Headers + Coolant Fans Problem
i also had 97/98 style fans on my car so they were bigger than the 99+ thin ones.
