On Headers (The ebay ones Blue ordered) a link to those would be ideal

and on the downpipe ZZ Performance which options should i go with?

    I'm new to this lol

and if I'm buying Headers do i need to buy stuff like the
    ZZP downpipes
    304 stainless powerlog
    Magnaflow mufflers?

and where would i get the Dual Stainless Tips that the Limited Edition came with. Mine have the ugly square ones

XPZ, Alum heads,150#, I/C, GEN V mps 3.0, N* TB CAI K&N fully built trans, JE pistons, L32 rods, Comp lifters, PRJ Fuel rails, 65# Injectors, elec pump, MSD wires, MSD coils, Alum control arms, AGX, vogtland, GMPP sway bars, rear trailing arms

no, no, no. ok headers generally come with some kind of d/p. the power log replaces the froont exhaust manifold, exactly what the header replaces..no-no. get headers see what comes with it, bolt up to ur factory catback, which is quite good, and on the end, change mufflers according to ur like..many different opinions...leave resonator on. without it, it sound sh!tty, atleast mine did.

Here is the link: 97-03 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX 3.8L 3-1 RACING HEADER EXHAUST on eBay.ca (item 170429109492 end time 07-Mar-10 17:19:32 EST)

You will also need; Gm exhaust manifold gaskets, 02 extension harness

The headers include the downpipe. I would leave the stock mufflers on, their fine.

All these "speed daddy" header threads should be merged with Blue's thread.

Yeah well he didnt know that he wouldnt need a dp...or the powerlog.

So figure 200 for headers, 200 for dp, and w/e powerlog is plus mufflers and tips...
Figure 600-800 dollars after everything if you needed all that, then yes he would be dropping some serious cash IMO.

I read something in his Speed daddy headers post about it.

The purpose of it is to keep the heat in the header and not make your engine bay blazing hot. Guys run without it but personally I would use it.. Im sure any auto parts store will have it.

Well...yeah...telling me my Safely Modding thread is useless? Your good in my book. I tell you to buy headers up front if you have the coin. If not...then buy a PLOG, DP INSTEAD.

Coils...are eye candy...you just wasted $200. Bosch plugs suck more wang than a 3.4" with no other mods.

So...good job wasting that "serious cash"...

I was expecting something in the neighborhood of 5 grand...not $400.

send back the coils, wires, and plugs. from what i see people always regret getting the coils cuz the stock ones are perfectly fine, as are the wires. ESPECIALLY for your mod level, which is nothing. as for the bosch plugs, i wouldnt run those things in a geo. they suck so hard in any car they go in, and would be that much worse in these cars. copper autolite 104's is what you want right now... should be around $11 for 6.

I was expecting this guy to have purchased a Turbo set up or something.
An hours worth or research through these treads (re:coils, wires, plugs) easily could have saved you some of your ""serious"" cash.
    I'm not impressed.

i didnt call your thread useless

i said its useless to buy the powerlog and the DP if i buy the headers set.

I misunderstood your Write up. But in this post You cleared it up much better

And i was expecting to spend like 1500$ on a few things But then i found the speed daddy headers for cheaper.
so i went with that suggestion.

You're paying too much for rent. You should pay no more than a weeks pay per month. So 400. Unless ofcourse your utillities are include then 600/month sounds right. I pay 2200/month for my mortgage so don't feel bad. I don't think anyone in this thread was being unfair. We answered all his questions and the title is very misleading. The OP already stated he thought he was going to spend more.
