How long will it take to put in ssac headers. Do you have to remove anything to put them on. I have a lift so i can get under the car very easily. Thanks

its pretty straight forward some headers have issues with the trans dipstick other then that if your going in from the back you wont even need to worry about the valve cover in the back or anything like that
    Plan on a couple hours

my trans dipstick needed removed, and i had to take the rear valve cover off. other than that pull the motor forward and drop it in.

You Women...just put SSAC's in today. Only things you need...

    1) Ratchet straps
    2) RTV
    3) Patience

Oh...and we didn't take off the valve cover either...have someone underneath pulling on the DP around the lines and sway bar.

    /end thread.

Ask him He was knock free with the 3.4" and had a smoothflow 3.25" hanging around so we threw it on. Top of the gear saw 1.46*...Gotta flip the sway bar though...the SSAC DP smacked the crap out of it and saw 5.9* of false knock. As long as he just rolled into the throttle...it pulled like a damned raped ape for stock cam/rocker...I think its got mid 13's in it.

Well... I just ordered the SSAC's. I won't have a lift to work on so I guess I need to know If this will all bolt/slip together with my SLP loudmouth setup. Will I need a retune? I am getting KR now from what I believe is a plugged cat. Should I do the install then baby it to my local dyno to check A/F? Car has run a 13.9 at 101 before with 3.4,ported blower and T/B,Thrasher CAI driving through smoking tires. 230 HP at the wheels, what kind of gains should I see?

thats odd. guess these care arent always the same. my dp doesnt hit anything, but in reverse, it pushed the 02 sensor against the dp tunnel and groans. once its in drive its golden though.
