This may be a really dumb question. But I'm going to ask it anyway. I saw a porting job started by Swiff. He ported the center exhaust port and eveyone said he ruined the head because it flows better with the smaller "D" shape. But doesn't the volumetric efficiency go up opening up the exhaust port even if the flow goes down??? Since putting a set of Oval headers gives more horsepower, wouldn't opening the exhaust ports up to match the oval headers give even more volumetric efficiency even if the flow goes down??? Less backpressure!!! More Power??? Again I don't know this is why I'm asking...
