when I look at these the bend following the flex seems to be pretty tight.
also, and given the price, what is the deal with the interlock? decent or?

thats a better price then i had got when i tried to get something going I told the guy 8 set preorder and he gave me a best of 550 fully bolt on using my car as a platform. But im going ssac based on price and reviews

I already have headers nick. I was asking because i could get the headers and mod them and weld them up nice stainless so people wouldnt have to and still get a good quality header at a good price, but if ssac are really that great and are that cheap, i cant compete with that.

i dont understand what the problem with slip fit is! i have ZZP headers that are slip fit, and they seal up perfectly with the stepped band clamp

Exactly. Slip fit doesn't mean the end of the world you guys, if they are decent quality then there isn't a problem. I've installed S&S, SLP, & ZZP headers and NOT had any issues whatsoever.
