what does that even mean. its a perfectly tuned and running car with atleast 125 hp more hp at the wheels built by a shop that understands the car and the motor. i bought slp exhuast not from them. your not making any sense
SLP made a 3" exhaust? either way, you need a resonator so it isnt so raspy, especially since you have a 3" system. with 2.5" it isnt so pronounced.
but as far as the car needing a retune for exhaust it isnt true. you can change the catback as much as you want and the tune shouldnt change unless youre running an open downpipe. it makes no difference in power, which is why i just ran the stock system and put the rest of the money into the motor.
My old exhaust was rusted and leaking into the car. That's why I replaced. I wanted something a little deeper. I wasn't doing it for power gain, but going to a larger pipe was my concern for any of the tune. That is why I just wanted to make sure I didn't need to tune again for goin to a larger exhaust.
ya 3 is pretty big id worry about backpressure even if it is built
Backpressure? Why would you want backpressure in a boosted car
for some reason i thought it said gtsleeper....my bad
