Got a 05 GTP going to put headers with dp and no cat. What happens to the rear O2 sensor?

you take it out, throw it in the trash, and disable the o2 code in your PCM otherwise you get to stare at an SES light forever.

What will happen if i just leave it in? Will that hurt the car or its performance. THe only problem is that I am no where near a place to get a tune and have no knowledfge on it myself.

nothing will be hurt, but its basically useless if you dont have a cat.

Im just thinking about saving $200 and going catless but if its better to run a cat ill get a high flow. Will the high flow still give me O2 errors?

with the pacesetters the rear o2 is moved further down the exhaust, with the suplied extension i retained the 02. it threw a code at first for no cat, but went away shortly after.

shouldn't it be tuned, cat or not, with headers to prevent it from running leaner? Or is this not an issue?
