It was last I looked at it a year ago. Even if it was stripped, I should still be making the same if not more boost. The alky would seal the gaps more if anything.

LOL, not giving because of a minor problem like that! LOL. If anything, i'll toss the S/C and go Turbo! LOL
Update...
Well after remembering an old post on ClubGP years ago I decided to try a different method to find vacuum leaks. I went to my local hardware store, picked up a 3" straight coupler, and a blank end cap. Drilled and tapped a hole for an air line fitting and of course installed a fitting. Installed this piece on my TB, Set my air compressor to somewhere in the 15-20 psi range, and hooked it up.
Immediatly it was leaking from my front valve cover on the bottom. bad enough to spray a little oil. So far that the only leak i've found. I wonder if this was the issue after all? My PCV system is STILL FUNCTIONAL so I don't run a breather. Could I've been losing 2-3 psi in that area this whole time? It wasn't noticable leaking oil before. I'm alittle confused on how the PCV system works because most cars i've been around don't have the setup in the first place. Anyway, I'm wondering if this is my problem or should I look elsewhere. I plan on replacing my PCV and valve cover gasket tomorrow. Any input would be appreciated, thanks!
Well heres how the pcv system works... Fresh air come in the tb area, before the throttle plate and after the maf. This is why you were pressurizing the crankcase, not really the right testing to be doing but oh well. The air then goes through the m90 passage to the lim passage and into the front head passage down the block into the crankcase. It then continues the airflow to the rear head where it goes into the back lim passage back up into the m90 after the throttle plate. This is a metered air leak and all it does is create a crossflow to vent and remove the escaping crankcase gases from building up and blowing out oil seals in the block. It is also there as an evaporative emissions device. Most people just run a breather when they mod but if your state has inspections you may not pass if you disable it.
I've always heard running a breather on a PCV functioning vehicle will just cause a vac leak which makes sense. With a functioning PCV a breather should be worthless on my setup....
