    i was wondering what was better. slp's or pacesetters in terms of performance or are they about the same

    Another header thread. Buy some coated pacesetter's and get them welded. Performance wise=same, and you will save yourself some mula.

    Mine fit good. My 02 sensor is hitting the floor of my car, but I will be fixing that soon. Others have not had that issue.

    Blue, how did u get the welds perfect? did u just tack them at the collector and then take them back off and fully welded them while they are off?
    ZZP 10.4mm's, ZZP S2 IC, 3.4, 3.0, Ported Gen V, ZZP Headers, ZZP CNC Heads, ZZP 78mm TB, ZZP Aluminum Valve Covers, Meziere Electric WP, ZZP Fuel Pump, ZZP Fuel Logs, 65 Mototrons, 3.29's, 2500 Stall. Tuned by GLANZERGTX and Kyle. E85 Converted, 21* Timing

    Nope...it was all done while they were ON the car. You've just got to find someone willing to tackle the job. The 3 bolt flange was unbolted, then we unbolted the catback...and removed the downpipe. Cut the entire flange out...bolted it to the catback...and held it up so it could be welded back to the remaining flange...then the collector clamps were removed and just welded around them...took about...hmmm a couple hours but WAY worth it.

    Alright cause i got some pacesetters layin around and really wanna do this after i get my cam and heads and everything installed

    You can fit them in the car, tack, remove then weld fully out of the car, easier that way.
